When does TNYPL Season 1 begin?
The tournament begins on Saturday, 12 September 2026 at Kabilan Palmyra Cricket Ground, Kundrathur. Opening-day fixtures are:
Where can I see live scores and scorecards?
Open the official TNYPL match schedule. Live information appears beside the relevant fixture and refreshes automatically every 30 seconds while the page is open. A SCORECARD button opens the verified Skipper Cricket match page when one is available.
The published TNYPL date and start time remain visible even if the external scoring service is temporarily unavailable.
Where can I watch the opening-day matches?
Use the red WATCH LIVE button beside Matches 1, 2 and 3 on the fixtures page. Each button opens the official YouTube event in a new tab.
For later fixtures, WATCH LIVE is displayed only after TNYPL has a verified broadcast link. This prevents unofficial or incorrect links from appearing.
Why does a match show SCORECARD but not WATCH LIVE?
Scorecards and video streams are separate services. A fixture may have a verified scoring page before its broadcast link is ready. WATCH LIVE appears only when an official YouTube or live-video URL has been confirmed.
What should I do if live information stops updating?
The page shows the last successful check in India Standard Time. If the live provider cannot be reached, the official fixture information and verified links remain available. Select Retry, refresh the browser once, or reopen the page. The TNYPL schedule is never replaced by an external provider’s date or time.
Players, squads and the draft
How many franchises and players are in Season 1?
Season 1 features eight franchises, with 13 confirmed players in each squad—a total of 104 players. Visit the franchise section to choose a team and view its roster.
Where can I see the final draft results?
The Final Draft Results page lists each franchise’s complete 13-player squad and the published auction points. It is now the official public record replacing the closed registration journey.
How were players selected?
Eligible and verified applicants entered the official draft pool. Franchise owners selected players through the Season 1 auction process, subject to the published league and squad rules. Registration or verification alone did not guarantee selection.
Is Season 1 player registration still open?
No. Season 1 registration is closed and the public registration form has been retired. Existing applicants who need help with an earlier submission should contact TNYPL using the official address below.

Where are the matches being played?
The published Season 1 fixtures are at Kabilan Palmyra Cricket Ground, Kundrathur. Use the official ground location on Google Maps for navigation.
Which schedule should I follow?
Always follow the date and start time published on the TNYPL website. TNYPL’s schedule is authoritative. External scoring or streaming platforms may display different or provisional scheduling information, but they do not overwrite the official TNYPL fixture time.
Where can I find every league and knockout fixture?
The full fixtures page lists every group-stage match, semifinal and the Season 1 final, organized by match day. All displayed start times are in India Standard Time.
